Industry Consultancy
Sometimes, you just need the right expert in the room.
Tube feeding is a specialised area — and what works in theory doesn’t always work in the real world.
A product may look great on paper, but how will it work in someone’s home?
A resource may be technically accurate, but is it practical for the dietitian, carer or family member using it?
An education piece may contain the right information, but does it reflect what clinicians are actually seeing in practice?
This is where real-world clinical expertise matters.
Through a focused consultancy session, you can bring your product, resource, idea, question or challenge directly to Lina Breik, Founder & Lead Dietitian of Tube Dietitian, for an experienced and independent clinical perspective.
No long-term contract. No ongoing commitment.
Just focused access to specialist expertise when you need it.
This service is designed for organisations seeking practical clinical insight into home tube feeding, home enteral nutrition and blended tube feeding in Australia.
How it works
Pre-consultation review
Before our session, you’ll provide the relevant information for your project, which may include:
Product information
Draft resources or educational materials
Clinical documents
Background information
Specific questions or discussion points
I’ll review the material before we meet so we can use our 60 minutes efficiently and focus on the areas that matter most.
60-minute expert consultancy
A private one-on-one consultation with Lina, focused specifically on your project, question or area of interest.
Depending on your needs, discussion may cover:
Clinical appropriateness
Practicality in home tube feeding
Patient, family and carer considerations
Dietetic considerations
Blended tube feeding
Potential implementation challenges
Clinical risks or areas requiring clarification
Communication and education
Opportunities to strengthen your product, resource or messaging
You’ll leave with practical, specialist feedback you can take back to your team and apply to your project.
Why Lina?
I’m an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian (AdvAPD) with 16 years’ experience across acute clinical practice and community-based home tube feeding.
For the past 6.5 years, I have also led Tube Dietitian, an NDIS-registered home tube feeding nutrition service supporting people who rely on feeding tubes in their everyday lives.
That means my perspective goes beyond clinical theory or product specifications.
I work directly with people using feeding tubes in their homes, alongside families, carers, support workers, dietitians and multidisciplinary teams.
I see what works — and what doesn’t — in the real world.
Because what looks appropriate in a clinical document or product specification isn’t necessarily what is practical at home.
That real-world perspective is what I bring to industry consultancy.
Who is this for?
This consultancy may be valuable for:
Medical and nutrition product companies
Medical suppliers
Healthcare organisations
Professional associations
Education providers
Health technology companies
Publishers
Organisations developing tube feeding-related products, resources or services
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You might simply have an idea and want to know:
“Does this actually make sense from a clinical perspective?”
That’s exactly the kind of question this service is designed to answer.
What this consultancy is — and isn’t
This service provides independent clinical perspective and professional feedback.
It is not:
Product endorsement
Clinical or regulatory approval
Medical advice
A formal systematic or literature review
Independent product certification
Ongoing clinical governance
Development of a complete product, resource or education program
If your project requires a broader scope of work, a separate consultancy arrangement can be discussed.
My role is simple: to give you an honest, clinically informed perspective grounded in real-world tube feeding practice.
